Dmitri Hvorostovsky returns to Wiener Staatsoper for La traviata

Continuing in a range of Verdian roles with the company this year, Dmitri Hvorostovsky returns to the Wiener Staatsoper for La traviata November 19 – 29. The Siberian baritone reprises his signature role of Giorgio Germont in Verdi’s romantic tragedy.

Dmitri stars opposite Marina Rebeka in the title role, with Charles Castronovo as his son, Alfredo Germont. Speranza Scappucci conducts the revival of Jean-François Sivadier’s production.
